Autarq – Newly Built Guest House

In May 2024, we opened our small but fine, Flachshaus, with its two boutique apartments in the beautiful Bavarian holiday region of Aidling Riegsee.

Energy Concept
Our energy concept is based on three central pillars: electricity from solar roof tiles, heat from a regional wood chip heating system, and ecological flax insulation.

During the planning and construction of our sustainable holiday home, we intensively considered how we could make a real contribution to environmental protection. The result is an ecological green building that is both energy-efficient and contemporary. Our primary goal was to create a climate-friendly holiday home that offers the highest level of comfort while protecting the environment.

Autarq Solar Roof Tiles: Electricity from the Sun
The entire roof of our holiday home is equipped with solar roof tiles from Autarq, which efficiently capture solar energy and convert it into environmentally friendly electricity. These photovoltaic roof tiles blend seamlessly into the architecture – they look like traditional roof tiles and offer the same robustness, ensuring the roof’s load-bearing capacity is not compromised. This modern solar technology allows us to forgo fossil fuels and supply the holiday home with completely self-sufficient solar power.
